ASECOR - Cork Cluster is part of the Sanvicenteña Association of Cork Entrepreneurs. Currently, it is comprised of companies in the cork sector, in collaboration with CICYTEX and the University of Extremadura, providing specialized knowledge. This cluster focuses on understanding cork as a unifying element, aiming to represent all links in the cork value chain, from owners and managers of cork oak forests to user companies in sectors such as wine, alcoholic beverages, construction, furniture, crafts, fashion, and sports. Collaboration among these diverse actors seeks to strengthen the cork industry and enhance its presence in various economic sectors.
