The food crafts cluster "Extremadura Alimenta" was created in 2015, bringing together companies in the food crafts sector in Extremadura. It brings together a wide range of agri-food sectors such as wineries, oil mills, artisan breweries, vegetable canneries... It was created with the aim of intervening in the development of Extremadura's food crafts in general, and of each of its members through initiatives in line with a sustainable, integrated, community-based, endogenous development model that respects the region's natural and human potential. It carries out activities that contribute to the development of food crafts in Extremadura, such as actions to promote and enhance the value of endogenous products from Extremadura, cooperation and exchange of experiences, technological alliances, training and technical assistance in food crafts processes.
