Description

The HEPRESTONE project, lasting three years, aims to protect cultural heritage in the EUROACE area against threats such as climate change and mass tourism. To achieve this, it implements best practices and innovative measures, developing critical indicators and digital twins of monuments such as the Alcazaba of Mérida, the wall of Évora, and the castle of Portezuelo. Using the HBIM methodology, the project promotes predictive conservation, sustainable tourism, and preventive management, supporting economic development and cultural preservation in Extremadura and Alentejo.
