Entrepreneurship Days in Sports Tourism between Spain and Portugal

On 4 December, the Faculty of Business, Finance and Tourism in Cáceres will host the Sports Tourism Entrepreneurship Day, organised in collaboration with the Faculty of Business, Finance and Tourism, the Faculty of Sports Science, the Extremadura Sports and Leisure Cluster, and the Extremadura Tourism Cluster. This initiative aims to establish sports tourism as a strategic growth segment, fostering its economic, social, and cultural development in the cross-border regions of Spain and Portugal.

A space for learning, innovation, and networking

The event aims to equip entrepreneurs, students, and professionals with key tools and knowledge to design sustainable and competitive projects in the field of sports tourism. This type of tourism, which combines sporting activities with the exploration of destinations, not only boosts the local economy but also promotes values such as sustainability, teamwork, and well-being.

Throughout the event, presentations and panels will be delivered on practical experiences, future trends, and success stories in sports tourism. Additionally, discussions will explore how collaboration between the public and private sectors can create opportunities in this rapidly growing field.
