CETEX (Extremadura Tourism Companies Confederation) is a professional organisation of entrepreneurs and self-employed workers related to the activities of hospitality and tourism, of confederal character and regional scope, which incorporates business organisations and individual entrepreneurs and self-employed workers for the defence, representation and promotion of general and common interests of a business nature. After the elections at the beginning of 2019, CETEX has been working, with a new, more participative, democratic and sectorial management model, to improve and represent the self-employed and companies that make up the tourism sector in Extremadura, grouped around the different associations, groupings and sectorial entities in the region, which encompass the vast majority of its associative fabric, and therefore, a very high percentage of companies and workers in tourism in Extremadura.
